About Us
저희는 뉴몰든을 기반으로 활동하는 다문화 커뮤니티 합창단으로, 음악을 통해 자원봉사를 실천하고 있습니다.
허밍버드 합창단은 지역 사회에 선한 영향력을 전하고자 항상 최선을 다하고 있으며 한국의 동요, 민요, 가곡, 대중가요 등 다양한 곡들을 선보여 왔습니다.
30여 명의 자원봉사 단원들이 매주 목요일 꾸준히 연습에 참여하고 있으며,
지역 축제, 교회 연주, 교민 행사 등 크고 작은 연중 행사에 합창으로 봉사하고 있습니다.
앞으로도 합창을 통해 한국 문화를 알리는 민간 외교관으로서,
지역 사회는 물론 유럽 전역에 한국의 아름다움을 전하고자 합니다.
We are a multicultural community choir based in New Malden, dedicated to volunteer work through music.
Our group, the Hummingbird Choir, strives to make a positive impact on the local community.
We have performed a variety of Korean songs, including children's songs, folk tunes, art songs, and popular music.
With the dedication of our 30+ volunteer members, we rehearse every Thursday and actively participate in community service through choir performances at various events throughout the year from local festivals to church services and gatherings for the Korean and wider community.
Looking ahead, we hope to continue serving as cultural ambassadors through choral music, sharing Korean culture not only within our community but across Europe as well.
